When it comes to cars we all want to be fast and furious, and let’s
be honest, who doesn’t love a fast car? Yet, in a world of advanced
technology cars are no longer just cars, they’re more like spaceships
looking for a skilled driver to swipe them off the ground. Do you have
the need for speed to get behind the wheel of a million dollar jewel? In
the following lines we’ll have a closer look at the world’s most
expensive, and at the same time, groundbreaking cars of 2013.
15
years ago, the McLaren F1 set the world record for the fastest road car
in 1998 and it’s still considered one of the best. It can reach up to
386 km/h in just a few seconds. The car is the result of outstanding
engineering and it’s a masterpiece in the history of automobile making.
It’s incredibly powerful, very lightweight, and it has a really current
design. It will provide you with an unparalleled driving experience by
balancing advanced performance and supreme comfort. McLaren F1 has a V12
engine designed by BMW and a unique gold-foiled engine chamber, aimed
to prevent over-heating.
The
Hennessey Spyder is considered the world’s finest convertible car. It
is also thought to be one of the fastest of 2013 with a record of 320
km/h. It uses a Chevrolet LS2 V8 engine and it goes from 0 to 60 mph in
only 2.5 seconds! Among its other impressive features we should mention
two Garrett turbochargers that allow the vehicle to reach an impressive
speed and a horsepower of over 1200. It’s extremely rare too. A maximum
number of five cars of this type are produced every year and one of the
lucky owners is the famous Aerosmith singer Steven Tyler.
The

an impressive horsepower of 750 and it can reach a top speed of 354
km/h, which is incredibly fast. It uses a V12, 7.3 liter engine, and a
Carbon Ceramic Matrix brake system. Can you believe that there are only
77 units available in the world?
The
names itself screams lavishness, so it’s pointless to explain the
brand. The Bugatti Veyron has a horsepower of 1001 and an 8.0L Quad
Turbocharger engine. It can reach 60 mph in only 2.5 seconds and its top
speed is 267 mph (430 km/h). It has a very chic design and it’s the

Our
number one most expensive car in the world is the Maybach Exelero. With
an exorbitant price of $8 million there’s no wonder it is the most
expensive car of 2013. One unit of this kind is produced every year by
the German manufacturer Maybach-Motorenbau. It has a 700 horsepower and a

it was designed with the help of several college students if you can
believe that.
