15 years ago, the McLaren F1 set the world record for the fastest road car in 1998 and it’s still considered one of the best. It can reach up to 386 km/h in just a few seconds. The car is the result of outstanding engineering and it’s a masterpiece in the history of automobile making. It’s incredibly powerful, very lightweight, and it has a really current design. It uses a Chevrolet LS2 V8 engine and it goes from 0 to 60 mph in only 2.5 seconds! Among its other impressive features we should mention two Garrett turbochargers that allow the vehicle to reach an impressive speed and a horsepower of over 1200. It’s extremely rare too. A maximum number of five cars of this type are produced every year and one of the lucky owners is the famous Aerosmith singer Steven Tyler.

Its maximum speed is 375 km/h and only fifteen vehicles of this kind are produced every year.

The car features a convertible roof and various other attractive features such as a Sensotronic Brake Control system, a turbo V12 engine, automatic climate control, multimedia, and even a refrigerator.

The Lykan Hypersport is a super powerful sports car manufactured by a new Lebanese car company known as W Motors. Only 7 units of this car will be produced every year and clients will be able to choose to what they want embedded inside the headlights – diamonds or rubies. It will be launched in November 2013 at the Dubai Motor Show, and it has a horsepower of 740, its maximum speed being 394 km/h.

Lamborghini Veneno is considered one of the strongest and most powerful cars of 2013. Unfortunately, its production is limited to only 3 units annually, and believe it or not they’re sold out. This super-auto comes with a 6.5 liters V12 DOHC engine and it has a horsepower of 750. Its maximum speed is 355 km/h.

With an exorbitant price of $8 million there’s no wonder it is the most expensive car of 2013.  One unit of this kind is produced every year by the German manufacturer Maybach-Motorenbau. It has a 700 horsepower and a V12 twin-turbo engine. This dashing two-seater auto is unique because it was designed with the help of several college students if you can believe that.
